Its basic principle is the same as resistance butt welding (butt welding), but it is very different from spot welding. One horizontal and one vertical, butt welding is pressed and clamped vertically, and then upturned (push) is applied horizontally and transversely at 0 degrees, and left and right movements are used to weld; while spot welding is vertical pressure at 90 degrees in the longitudinal direction, and welding is performed in up and down movements. The butt welding operation is to clamp two metal workpieces left and right in a conductive electrode fixture so that they are end-to-end. Pressure is applied to make the current pass through the metal workpiece. The workpiece's own resistance heat is used to heat the workpiece to a plastic state, and then it is quickly extruded laterally to complete the welding.
